New Features in the Services Portal


The Services Portal and IT Services Portal upgraded several new features designed to simply your experience and give you more control on how you access services and information. The two previous portals have now been unified into a single platform. Below are the key changes introduced in the new portal experience. Centralized Access

You can now access all ServiceNow resources in a single location, including request forms, knowledge base articles, and service request items.

Enhanced Experience for Authenticated Users

Enhanced Navigation

The portal features a streamlined layout, optimized topic structure, and improved search functionality to help you find services and articles faster. Categories are now organized more intuitively in the Service Catalog.

Draft Requests

You can now save a request form as a draft and return to complete it later. This is useful if you’re missing required information or need more time.

After logging into the Services Portal:

  1. Select My Requests in the top right.

  2. Select the Drafts tab.

Favorites

Save your most frequently used knowledge articles or request forms by selecting the heart icon. You can view all your Favorites by selecting My Favorites in the top navigation bar once logged in.
